Torch Lake Protection Alliance (TLPA) was established in 1994 to provide a unifying voice for people who regard the preservation of Torch Lake as a top priority, enabling current and future generations to enjoy the responsible use of this geological jewel.
Family Membership
Become a Torch Lake Protection Alliance (TLPA) member. Help us protect and preserve Torch Lake. We support efforts to control unsafe activities on the sand bar by paying for police overtime during the 4th of July holidays. We are researching the causes of Golden Brown Algae. We are helping to control invasive species that threaten our lake, such as Eurasian Milfoil. These are just a few of the issues that threaten to change the lake we all love. You can become a member by joining online or mailing a $125 check to TLPA, PO Box 706, Bellaire MI 49615. Together we can make a difference!
